Renting a new home is exciting but can also be stressful.
To help take some of the uncertainties out of the process it can be useful to fully understand the various steps involved.

    Register your details with us

    The demand for good rental property is very high and the market is moving extremely rapidly. This can mean that many properties don’t even get to the point of being advertised by us before they are let. As soon as we list a property, we call our registered applicants to see if it is the right one for them and in that way they have the first pick of our rental portfolio. So, registering with us is absolutely vital if you too want to get the first opportunity with any of our new listings.

    Finding a property

    Once you have decided which type of property you would like to find, and the rent that you would be able to afford, you should look at which areas would suit your needs best. Remember, the wider the area that you are prepared to look at, the better chance you will have of finding the right home for you and your family.

    Referencing

    When you have selected the property that you would like to rent, we will ask you to fill out our application form. You will need each of your relevant documents at this point. We shall want to confirm your identity, credit history and possibly your employment of immigration status.

    Moving in

    Once your referencing has been successfully completed and the landlord has confirmed that they are happy for you to move in, you will receive written confirmation from us. We will then ask you to come into the office to sign the Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement and pay your deposit and first months rent.
